  • Base salary range: Level B, $113,934 – $134,824 p.a plus 17% superannuation.

UWA is developing programmes in Nursing and Midwifery in close collaboration with key industry stakeholders.  The University will offer an innovative and flexible programme of undergraduate and postgraduate courses designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required in a changing and challenging health care environment.

About the opportunity

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Discipline to lead the comprehensive design, development, and accreditation of new academic programs across multiple disciplines.
  • Apply innovative learning design principles and modern assessment frameworks to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans that focus on curriculum enhancement and the initiation of new academic programs.
  • Lead change initiatives related to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement of the student experience.

About you

  • PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline, or a combination of management experience and postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards such qualifications, with substantial experience.
  • Hold and maintain a current membership with a relevant professional association.
  • Extensive experience in curriculum development and course accreditation within Australian higher education.
  • Proficiency in curriculum design, contemporary assessment framework (including programmatic assessment), and learning technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading public engagement activities with government and industry that promote research leadership and work integrated learning and/or education outcomes.
