About the area
College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff, and research students. The Schools Operations team delivers academic and general administrative support to ensure smooth operations and alignment with UWA’s strategic objectives.
About the opportunity
- Provide broad administrative support across school operations, including tasks such student and staff onboarding, graduate research coordination, prizes and scholarships, event management, curriculum maintenance and website updates.
- Coordinate meetings and events, prepare agendas and minutes, maintain records, and support specialized programs, committees and projects.
- Collaborate across teams, respond to enquiries, liaise with other departments, and assist with policy and procedure advice as needed.
About you
- Degree qualification or substantial relevant administrative experience, ideally in a Higher Education setting.
- Exceptional organisational abilities and proven capacity to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in a wide range of digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Excel), with advanced skills in word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and customer service focus.
