  • Base salary range: $77,205 – $82,011 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

College Services provides high-quality academic administration and technical support services to the University’s Schools. This role sits within the Schools Operations team and primarily supports the School of Engineering, working closely with the Head of School, academic staff, professional staff and research students.

The Schools Operations team delivers a wide range of academic and general administrative services that enable the effective delivery of teaching programs, research activity and day-to-day school operations. With a strong focus on service excellence, continuous improvement and collaboration, the team plays a key role in supporting the School of Engineering to meet its operational and strategic objectives in a dynamic higher education environment.

About the opportunity

  • Provide general administrative support across school operations, including support for research and HDR students, committees, events and office management.
  • Work collaboratively across Schools Operations and with key stakeholders to deliver responsive, high-quality services.
  • Respond to enquiries, apply policies and procedures, and support evolving operational needs.

About you

  • Completion of Year 12 or equivalent competency, with considerable relevant administrative experience.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency across a range of computing applications, the full Microsoft 365 suite, including MS Forms and Power Automate, databases, internet and email.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service, both independently and as part of a team.
