- Base salary range: $108,413 – $120,287 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Risk, Integrity, Safety and Compliance (RISC) Division provides enterprise‑wide leadership across risk management, compliance, safety, and information governance. Within RISC, the Information Governance team supports the University to manage information responsibly, ethically and in line with legislative and regulatory obligations, enabling trust, transparency and academic excellence. As the University continues to enhance its information governance capability, the team is growing to provide expert guidance and support across a diverse range of information, privacy and compliance initiatives.
About the opportunity
- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Governance, this role supports the implementation and continuous improvement of the University’s Information Governance Framework, policies and standards.
- You will provide practical, solutions‑focused advice to staff across the University on privacy, responsible information sharing, records and information lifecycle management. The role also supports the University’s Privacy, Responsible Information Sharing and Freedom of Information (FOI) functions, contributing to disclosure requests, eDiscovery support, Microsoft 365 Governance, training, and awareness activities.

About you
- A degree in information management (or a related discipline) with relevant professional experience.
- Substantial experience in information governance, privacy, records or knowledge management roles.
- Working knowledge of information governance legislation and policy, including privacy, records and information access frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Microsoft 365.
