- Base salary range: Level 7, $108,413 – $120,287 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Digital Development and Enhancement Team partners with academics to design and deliver outstanding digital learning experiences across UWA. The team produces engaging multimedia content, supports effective use of learning technologies, champions accessibility and quality standards, and contributes to the University's digital learning strategy.
This role will play a key part in supporting UWA Online, a strategic initiative delivering flexible, industry-relevant and high-quality online education to learners across Australia and globally.
About the opportunity
- Lead the production of engaging digital learning assets, including video, graphics, infographics, interactive content and other multimedia resources that enhance student learning outcomes.
- Provide expert advice on accessibility, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), multimedia production standards and digital content quality, ensuring online learning materials are inclusive and pedagogically effective.
- Drive continuous improvement of production workflows, digital asset management practices, templates and quality assurance processes to support scalable online learning delivery.
About you
- Demonstrated expertise in multimedia production for education, with a portfolio showcasing digital content creation, visual communication, accessibility and learner engagement.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility, inclusive design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, with the ability to apply these to digital learning environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into high-quality digital learning resources.
- Highly developed organisational skills, including project coordination, version control, file management and delivery against fixed timelines.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in digital media, multimedia design, educational technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and professional experience.
