About the area

UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals.  UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.

About the opportunity 

  • Support the delivery of IT Asset Management services, including hardware and software lifecycle management, asset reconciliation, compliance activities and asset disposal.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors and business stakeholders to improve asset management processes, service delivery outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ServiceNow request and incident management, vendor engagement, governance activities and business case development for technology investments.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Service Management (ITSM) or Service Delivery environments, with knowledge of asset lifecycle management principles and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting hardware and software asset management within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend practical solutions.
  • Well-developed communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

A current National Police Clearance will be required by the successful applicant. Occasional after hours work. Occasional travel for field service, including outside the metro area.
