About the Unit: UWA’s Government and Corporate Communications division delivers professional, strategic and best practice communications and engagement activities across the University as the lead group for the University’s engagement with government, media, staff and key external stakeholders. This is achieved through the provision of strategic advice and the effective management of a range of communication channels.

About the opportunity: Reporting to the Communications Manager, and as part of a supportive communications team, you will work as a business partner providing communications advice and support to your internal clients; Campus Management, Human Resources, Venues and the Institute of Advanced Studies. This includes dedicated communications support for large-scale projects delivered by these clients.

About you: With significant experience in corporate communications gained from within large complex organisations, you will have the ability to influence at a senior level as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also have a track record of producing high-quality communication materials such as e-newsletters, fact sheets, web content, social media content, briefing notes, correspondence and presentations. In addition, experience developing digital content, managing and maintaining websites, social media platforms and e-newsletters would be beneficial.
