About the area
College Services provides academic administration and technical support to UWA’s schools, including support for Heads of School, academic staff, and research students. Our team is dedicated to effective service delivery in alignment with UWA's strategic objectives, prioritising continuous improvement and best practices. The Schools Operations team specifically supports academic operations and general administration across UWA’s schools.
About the opportunity
- Lead and supervise the Agile Support team to deliver high-quality administrative support for UWA schools, addressing peak periods and covering staff absences.
- Collaborate with various teams to provide responsive, flexible support that meets evolving school operational needs.
- Drive continuous improvement within school administration, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.
About you
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Extensive experience in senior administration, with the ability to address complex enquiries and provide sound advice, interpreting policy, and providing reliable solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to supervise, train, and develop a small team.
- Demonstrated organisational abilities, with proven skills in prioritisation and deadline management.
- Proficient in a range of computing skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email.
