Administration Officer - Scientific Support

  • Part-time (0.5 - 0.8 FTE) appointment on an 18-month, fixed-term basis.
  • Base salary range: $80,243 – $88,940 p.a. (pro rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area
The Raine Study is a world-renowned longitudinal cohort, tracking participants from pregnancy through to young adulthood. It serves as a rich resource for researchers across a wide variety of disciplines. The study has contributed to more than 750 peer-reviewed publications and continues to support cutting-edge research through its comprehensive data collection and collaborative networks.

About the opportunity

  • Provide vital administrative support to the Raine Study science team.
  • Assist in preparing scientific reports, conducting literature searches, and tracking the scientific impact of the study.
  • Manage scientific committee activities and support researchers with manuscript submissions and compliance.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a science field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills, including word processing and databases.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
