  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis, until 31/12/2026.
  • Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

The University of Western Australia’s campus located in Kinjarling / Albany facilitates UWA’s teaching and research activity in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Office of Education Innovation and Enterprise, based at UWA’s Perth campus, provides strategic leadership for digital uplift across the student lifecycle, focusing on enablement and capability development. It drives innovations through partnerships with third-party organisations, advancing short courses, micro-credentials, and lifelong learning. The Office also consolidates initiatives related to experiential learning, employability, and career development, maintaining industry partnerships to meet evolving skill needs.

About the opportunity

  • Develop and maintain partnerships and collaborations with industry and community stakeholders in regional Western Australia.
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships between UWA and the business community, driving employability and engagement outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues across the University.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency (post-graduate degree desirable) and substantial relevant experience at an appropriate level.
  • Proven ability to liaise and network effectively with a range of professionals and establish effective relationships with internal and external contacts. 
  • Strong understanding of industry engagement strategies and practices, including knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and commercialisation.  
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement best practice, policies, procedures and processes for design and development of Industry facing solutions in a higher education setting. 

 Note:

The position is based at UWA Albany.

Occasional travel (intrastate, interstate and overseas) may be required.

Occasional weekend work and some after-hours work may be required.

Current “C” class driver’s licence (preference for experience with manual and 4WD vehicles).
