  • Deliver efficient team and school activities, through the School Operations team, enabling staff and students to focus on excellence.
  • Part-time (0.6 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. (Pro Rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.  The School Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University’s Schools.

About the opportunity

  • Provide broad administrative support across school operations, including tasks such student professional placement support, student and staff onboarding, graduate research coordination, prizes and scholarships, event management, curriculum maintenance and website updates.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, prepare agendas and minutes, maintain records, and support specialized programs, committees and projects.
  • Collaborate across teams, respond to enquiries, liaise with other departments, and assist with policy and procedure advice as needed.

About you

  • Working knowledge of SONIA and SharePoint is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in providing high-level administrative support, ideally in a Higher Education setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities and proven capacity to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in a wide range of digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Excel), with advanced skills in word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and database management.
