  • Base salary range: Level D, $173,024 – $190,355 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

  • Design and implement world-class innovative teaching, unit coordination, specialising in topics relevant to the discipline at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
  • Direct and supervise Undergraduates, Honours, Masters, PhD students and their research projects
  • Create and be an active member of a research team and initiate cross-disciplinary research initiatives in local, national and international arenas. 
  • Continuous contribution to the governance and collegial life within the School, across the University and more broadly outside the institution. 

About you

  • PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to their discipline
  • Extensive experience with investigating soil-plant-atmosphere interactions in natural and cultivated areas
  • Evidence of a commitment to world-class teaching and mentoring in the relevant discipline
