- Base salary range: $104,243 - $115,661 p.a. plus 12% superannuation.

The Perth USAsia Centre (the Centre) is a non-partisan and not-for-profit institution. Through research and educational activities, the Centre strengthens strategic thinking between Australia, the Indo-Pacific, and the United States and engages thought leaders to address challenges and opportunities in the Indo-Pacific region.
Based at The University of Western Australia, the Centre is an independent company and shares the values of the University. It has a strong commitment to personal effectiveness, working collaboratively and demonstrating a focus on results. This role is based in Perth.
This position is an integral part of the Program & Events team, which is responsible for delivering a range of high-quality, strategically aligned business initiatives and ensuring the effective allocation of resources across Centre events and activities.
About the opportunity
- Coordinate the end-to-end processes to plan, resource and deliver a broad range of high-profile events and activities.
- Provide high-quality administrative and logistical support, including the administration of travel arrangements.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in event management with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Proven ability to oversee logistics from end‑to‑end ensuring high quality, timely and well‑executed outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining planning tools to support effective scheduling and decision‑making, with superior skills in Outlook and Excel.
- Extensive experience in providing high‑level administrative support including diary management and administering travel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience liaising with external stakeholders, including government officials.

Occasional early morning and after-hours work.
A current National Police Clearance will be required by the successful applicant.
