About the area
College Services provides high-quality academic administration and technical support services to the University’s Schools. The team works closely with Heads of School, academic staff, professional staff, and research students to support teaching, research, and strategic objectives. Within College Services, the Schools Operations team delivers a broad range of administrative and operational services and is committed to continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellent customer service.
About the opportunity
- Provide expert administrative support across school operations, including research students, programs, committees, and engagement activities.
- Use judgement, initiative, and sound knowledge of University policies and procedures to respond to complex enquiries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing more efficient workflows and practices.
About you
- Substantial relevant administrative experience, or equivalent demonstrated capability, ideally in a complex organisation.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Well-developed computing skills across common administrative systems and applications.
- The ability to work independently, show initiative, and contribute positively as part of a collaborative team.
