  • Base salary range: Level A, $83,499 – $112,371 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

  • Develop expertise in teaching in the area of Primary teacher education with an increasing degree of autonomy.
  • Support student learning, mentor students on professional experience placements, and offer advice and guidance to students to ensure success.
  • Undertake teaching and assessment in relevant units, contribute to assessment and assessment practices, and Scholarship of Learning and Teaching activities.

About you

  • A completed Master of Education degree, or higher and/or willingness to undertake study towards a doctorate in education.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and engaging teaching in your area of expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise teaching and assessment activities to support student learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to team, school and wider University activities such as team and school meetings, strategic planning and program development.
