The Department of Business UWA India is integrally aligned with the UWA Business School, one of Australia’s leading business schools. Through this association, UWA India delivers high‑quality degree programs in economics and business management,  and advances impactful, world‑class research with global relevance. The Department encompasses the core disciplines of Economics, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Management, Finance and Accounting, integrating strong analytical and quantitative foundations with contemporary business practice. Across these areas, the Department contributes to industry engagement, workforce development and regional economic growth through high-quality teaching and research.

About the opportunity

• As an Assistant Professor or Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Business at UWA India, you will contribute to high-quality teaching and learning, develop and disseminate impactful research, and participate in scholarly, service and governance activities that support UWA’s academic mission.  You will provide these contributions in one or more of the following management studies areas: general management; international management; strategy; project management; supply chain management; organisational behaviour; and human resource management.
• At Assistant Professor level, you will focus on delivering approved units, contributing to curriculum enhancement, developing an emerging research profile with peer reviewed outputs andparticipating in research funding applications.
• At Senior Assistant Professor level, you will make substantial contributions to programme and curriculum design and delivery, lead or co lead scholarly initiatives, undertake independent and collaborative research that makes original contributions to the discipline, contribute actively to research funding applications and mentor junior staff.

About you        

Assistant Professor

• A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline - general management; global business or international management; strategy; project management; supply chain management; organisational behaviour; human resource management - or equivalent academic standing.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake high-quality research with potential to publish in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals.
• Evidence of an emerging research agenda aligned with the discipline.
• Evidence of effective and engaging teaching at the university level.
• Capacity to contribute to curriculum development and innovative learning initiatives.

Senior Assistant Professor

• A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline - general management; global business or international management; strategy; project management; supply chain management; organisational behaviour; human resource management -or equivalent academic standing.
• Demonstrated track record of research excellence and sustainable peer-reviewed journal articles publications in top-ranked journals.
• Evidence of success in obtaining, or contributing to, research funding.
