About the opportunity

  • Management of project costs including tracking purchase orders, actual costs, accruals, journals, forecasting, variance analysis and cost reporting in line with UWA cost management processes and standards.
  • Support the project manager in the coordination of project activities, meetings and workshops.
  • Maintain project reporting artefacts including status reports, RAID logs, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.

About you

  • Substantial experience, 4 years plus, in supporting projects, financial administration and reporting.
  • Highly developed analytical skills with a proven record of preparing, analyzing and reporting on budgets.
  • Completion of a degree with at least four years of subsequent relevant work experience including high proficiency in using spreadsheets for finance reporting.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise collaboratively and cooperatively with diverse groups of people.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
