School Operations Officer (Agile Support Team) (523928)

  • Be part of a dynamic and flexible team that adapts quickly to operational needs and delivers high quality administrative services to support school operational teams.
  • Deliver efficient, professional support that contributes to UWA’s strategic objectives.
  • There are currently two vacancies within the team, one fixed term and one ongoing.
  • Full time (1.0 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Part-time (0.8 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis until 20th August 2027.
  • Base salary range: $83,212 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.  The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University’s Schools. 

About the opportunity

  • The Agile Support Team (AST) provides responsive administrative support across UWA’s schools, helping to maintain continuity of operations during staff leave, peak workload periods, and changing business needs.
  • Working across a variety of schools and professional teams, you will deliver high quality administrative support that contributes to the effective delivery of operational services.
  • In this varied role you will gain exposure to different teams, systems and processes, and develop a broad understanding of school operations, systems and processes.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high quality administrative support, with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, systems and processes.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Proficient in a range of digital systems and applications including Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Completion of year 12 or equivalent.  Previous experience with a university or higher education environment will be highly regarded.
