About the opportunity
The Exams Team at the University of Western Australia is seeking several casual Exam Supervisors to join us in providing an optimal environment for UWA students during their exams. As a key part of Student Life, our team administers all centrally managed exams on behalf of the Schools.

Exam Supervisors are essential to ensuring that exam sessions are conducted consistently, professionally, and seamlessly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up, monitoring, and dismantling exam sessions according to established procedures.
  • Escorting students during examinations as needed.
  • Adhering to and enforcing policies related to exam conduct, including responding to misconduct, verifying student identities, and handling exam papers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare exam rooms with necessary materials and instructions.
  • Monitor students and respond to instances of misconduct.
  • Verify student identities and manage exam papers.
  • Provide assistance to students during exams as required.

About you
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver high-quality, student-focused service in a high-pressure environment.
  • Physical fitness and mental alertness, with the ability to stand and walk for several hours.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic service environment.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to communicate via email and complete online forms.
