  • Full‑time fixed term appointment until 31/12/2026, with extension expected to 2031.

  • Base salary range: $104,243 – $115,661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The College Services team is responsible for providing project, administration and support services to a wide range of clients including Heads of School, academic staff and students across the University. The team is committed to providing a quality outcome with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.

The Rural Clinical School of Western Australia is a unit within the UWA Medical School and provides rural clinical training for WA medical students from UWA, Curtin University and University of Notre Dame. The RCSWA spans a breadth of some 3,500kms across multiple sites in WA and strives to provide a positive rural educational experience, increase the quantity and quality of the rural workforce and in turn improve health outcomes in rural and remote Australia.

About the opportunity

  • You will manage a dispersed, statewide team and deliver senior administrative and executive support under the broad direction of the Operations Manager for RCSWA.
  • You will provide leadership within your area of responsibility and guide your team to deliver excellent client focussed service and develop innovative process solutions.
  • You may also be required to provide support to both students and staff.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
  • Substantial relevant senior administrative experience at an appropriate level.
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set individual and team goals and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
  • Ability to supervise a remote team and provide training and development.

The RCSWA spans multiple rural sites and an urban centre node. Staff are required to be based at a nominated site. Some Intrastate and interstate travel will be required by the successful applicant.
