- Base salary range: $116,262 – $127,078 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.
The Casual Workforce Operations team provides rostering and scheduling services to the University’s Schools.
About the opportunity
- Lead coordination of operations across the College of Schools and College Services, supporting strategic initiatives and ensuring effective service delivery.
- Manage and mentor the team responsible for casual workforce administration, ensuring high‑quality, client‑focused support.
- Represent School and Teaching Operations on key projects and initiatives impacting administration across the College of Schools.
About you
- Institutional knowledge and experience in a higher education setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with demonstrated experience managing a small team and supporting staff development.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and identify innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide authoritative advice on policies, procedures, and operational matters in a complex environment.
