About the area
The University Library supports teaching, learning and research across UWA through innovative services, systems and expertise. Research Publications and Data Services sits within the Library’s Research and Collections portfolio and provides specialist support for research publications, data management, researcher profiles, research metrics reporting, and national research assessment activities. The team plays a critical role in enhancing the visibility, discoverability and impact of UWA’s research outputs.
About the opportunity
- Maintain and develop some of UWA’s research information management systems, including the UWA Profiles and Research Repository and Research Data Hub, ensuring information is accurate, consistent and meets agreed University standards.
- Support University-wide research reporting and review activities, such as annual publication collections, audits and reports.
- Work closely with library colleagues, to support researchers, HDR candidates and stakeholders across the University in relation to research publications, profiles and open research initiatives.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience in information, data or research support environments.
- Experience working with research publications and research information in a university or research setting is desirable.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and experience using information systems, reporting tools and protocols to create meaningful reports is desirable.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with researchers and professional staff.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.
