About the opportunity
- Operate independently within a team to deliver business and systems analysis for enterprise applications (focusing on the University’s Student Information Management System), gather requirements, write user stories, define the minimum viable product, and lead process redesign and improvements for learning technology products, including enhancements to existing platforms and services.
- Establish and manage testing strategies and plans for all products and services, including hands-on support for test cases design, execution, and defect triage. Ensuring robust, consistent delivery and alignment with University’s standards.
- Develop a deep understanding of product functionality, configuration, and data structures, including their use in student administration, and reporting processes. Mentoring staff and supporting stakeholders to effectively adopt and utilise system capabilities.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
- Substantial relevant experience in a Business or Systems Analyst role, working directly with core enterprise applications, preferably student information or ERP systems, with the ability to analyse system behaviour, validate configuration, and troubleshoot functional issues.
- Substantial experience in establishing testing strategies and plans, business cases and investments options modelling at an appropriate level.
- Demonstrated understanding of business analysis practices across agile and plan-driven environments, with strong stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to build positive working relationships, and support users in effectively adopting and utilising systems to deliver teaching and learning outcomes.
- Technical skills including: working knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS, and APIs, in addition to exposure to Callista, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP/SIS solutions would be beneficial but not required.
