You will join the Brand, Marketing and Recruitment division, which brings together marketing, communications and future student activities to strengthen the University’s reputation and drive recruitment outcomes. The division leads brand strategy, digital platforms, content and performance across a complex, enterprise‑scale digital environment supporting millions of users annually.
About the opportunity
- Provide senior‑level front‑end development expertise across the planning, build and ongoing enhancement of the University’s cloud‑based digital platforms, including its enterprise Sitecore CMS.
- Build modern, accessible and consistent user interfaces using technologies such as React, JavaScript and Next.js, with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness and accessibility.
- Influence technical direction by working closely with solution architects and digital teams to reduce technical debt and inform the adoption of emerging technologies, including personalisation and dynamic search.
About you
- Strong experience as a senior front‑end developer delivering complex, large‑scale web applications.
- Advanced capability with modern front‑end frameworks and tools, including React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SASS and Git.
- Proven experience working with enterprise content management systems, such as Sitecore, and integrating front‑end solutions within broader digital ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design and cross‑browser testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
