About the area

The Student Office team sits within Student Life, a key division of UWA's Education Portfolio focused on enhancing the student experience from enrolment through to graduation. Working closely with academic schools, students and professional staff, the team provides high-quality student advisory services, supports academic progression, and delivers essential student administration services that help students succeed throughout their university journey.

About the opportunity

  • Deliver responsive, student-focused advice and enquiry resolution across a broad range of student administration, course information, and university services.
  • Provide accurate information, maintain student records, prepare documentation and reports, and support administrative processes that contribute to student success.
  • Collaborate with academic and professional staff across the University while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and service excellence.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in administration, customer service, student services, or a similar service-focused environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and respond professionally to a diverse range of enquiries.
  • Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and other digital systems, including databases, spreadsheets, email, and record management tools.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, solve problems effectively, work independently, and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.
